Wow, that was fast – MS fixed the problem with the crashing calendar app.
The defective calendar update was removed from the store yesterday – today a new update is available that fixes the crash.
How do you get this update, if it is not shown as an update on the marketplace icon?
1. start marketplace
2. open the menu and select „downloads“
3. swipe to „history“
4. scroll down to „calender“ – the version with the bug is 1.0.14127.246
5. select the app
6. a „update“ button is shown => click it to manually update the calendar app
7. the version of the update is 1.0.14127.247, so you can check, if the update was installed successfully
