Some news according to my apps and games

Lately I spent much of my „coding spare time“ for unity development. This means, I want to release another unity game soon and maybe write an article, how to create you own „flappy birds“ in unity in 1 hour…so all of you can get rich really fast. *gg*

Of course I am also working on new features for the next Week View update.
I am getting much feedback from users of my apps – thank you for this!
This is great since it tells me, which features are most important for users of my apps.

The next update will contain support for new languages, some UI updates (see screenshot below), more live tile options, some bugfixes and more.

As written, I was able to get access to WP 8.1 SDK preview by MS and I can tell you: It contains many new, really cool features! The last days more and more features of it get leaked – I hope, it will be available to the public soon after it has been officially „announced“ at the MS BUILD conference in a month.

Windows Phone 8.1 will change the options that are available for apps and especially calendar apps considerably. I want to support Windows Phone 8.1 and the new features of it in my apps from the beginnning so there will be busy weeks to come…and maybe I should pause my unity gaming projects meanwhile. 😉

Great that MS releases new SDK with new cool features but it seems like this is the only thing MS does. What about the basic needs for viewing private appointments and creating and editing appointments? When will that come? I don’t care about new colors etc if the basics are not in place.

The update also contains some of the long expected „basic features“. Maybe not all that developers and users like to have but it’s definitly a great improvement.
